WE ARE MOVING THE CIRCLE AND THE RALLY AND PRESS CONFERENCE TO THURSDAY, OCT. 18. A WONDERFUL AND BRAVE WOMAN WHO HAS TO REPORT ON THURSDAY HAS REACHED OUT TO US AND HAS ASKED US TO BE PRESENT!!!

Join the Friends of Miami-Dade Detainees and our amazing co-hosts as we shine a light on the secrecy that ICE requires to destroy and separate families. Community members Bud Conlin & Tomas Kennedy were banned by ICE from further participation in community visitation at the Krome Detention Center for exercising their right to protected speech at Miramar last July. We will formally demand that ICE restore their right to visitation while we call out the atrocity of the Miramar Center as another weapon used by ICE to funnel members of our community into the detention and deportation machine.
The rally and press conference will begin at 11 a.m. following the regular Circle of Protection. Come early and bring your favorite sign.
